Villa Bananas Curaçao is our newest gem on Grote Berg! Perfect for long, enjoyable holidays with your family, friends, or beautiful retreats. We're proud to offer this spacious accommodation ( 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms ) for rent. It can comfortably accommodate up to 10 to 12 people! And there's still plenty of room for one or two cribs!
It's truly a tropical retreat, wonderfully situated in the breezy breeze and featuring a large tropical garden. Everywhere you'll find comfortable seating, hammocks, and lounge sofas. A large palapa by the pool provides much-needed shade, and you can cool off in the 8x4m pool.
The five bedrooms have wooden shutters, so you can sleep comfortably in the breeze if you don't like air conditioning. We've never even used the air conditioners, and we lived there for two years! For warmer nights, there are fans above the beds, but of course, the air conditioning is also available. All bedrooms are furnished with luxurious box spring beds and thick, comfortable toppers. The largest bedroom can be converted into a family room, sleeping up to four people!
Another showpiece is the roof terrace, with a large canopy where you can enjoy watching the planes approaching Hato. They're especially beautiful to look at, but thankfully, they don't bother you! This is also the perfect spot to enjoy the stunning sunrises and sunsets!
The living room features large French doors, which open onto the porch. The living room itself is furnished with sofas, an armchair, an ottoman, and a TV. A bookcase holds books and games. On the inviting porch , Villa Bananas Curaçao has a large dining table for up to 12 people, perfect for many enjoyable evenings spent together.
The 3 bathrooms and the bright kitchen are brand new and fully equipped. In this large kitchen you will find an American fridge-freezer, 2 Nespresso coffee machines and a filter coffee machine, induction hob, dishwasher, convection oven, combination microwave, blender, toaster and even an air fryer!!!
Utility room with a large washer and dryer, plus plenty of clotheslines to hang everything. Truly equipped with every comfort and convenience, so all you have to do is enjoy! Parking one or more cars (SUV, 7-seater, van) is also easily arranged!
About Grote Berg: a lovely, safe, and quiet neighborhood, wonderfully situated on a breezy beach, conveniently centrally located in the narrowest part of the island. Close to the airport and Willemstad, but especially close to the island's most beautiful beaches! Our favorites are Portomari, Cas Abou, Daaibooi, and Kokomo, and a little further towards Westpunt you'll find, for example, Grote Knip, Lagun, Kalki, and Piskado. Here you can swim to your heart's content, even with turtles, sunbathe, snorkel, enjoy fantastic diving, and all other watersports. We have plenty of tips!
Within walking distance is Bali, where you can enjoy delicious Asian and Surinamese food. There's also a delicatessen and cocktail bar called Shots, which also serves delicious drinks and excellent food. Recently, a fitness center, a small fish restaurant, SuperSandwich, a Spanish restaurant, and a hairdresser have opened, with a pizzeria opening in 2026. Just outside the neighborhood, you'll find restaurant De Buurvrouw and Landhuis Daniel. There are so many great places to eat and drink.

They all have beautiful gardens and a lovely pool, and some houses are on the same street, which is very convenient if you're traveling with several families! So feel free to send us a message!

Payment Schedule
50% of the total amount is due at time of reservation.
The remaining amount is to be paid 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation Policy
100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier.
50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival or earlier.
0% refundable if canceled after.
Security deposit
A refundable security deposit of €498 is due.
Notes
Upon departure, final cleaning is mandatory. If you would like an interim cleaning and a change of bed linen and towels, please indicate this before arrival.
7% tourist tax will be charged, this will be levied on the basic overnight rate, excl. cleaning and ancillary costs.
The rental price does not include the consumption of water and electricity. Saving energy and water is very important to us. That's why we've chosen to charge for energy and water separately.
The energy consumption of the air conditioners, refrigerator and other equipment in the villa is low, but the price of water and electricity is very high on Curacao. The final cost depends a lot on your usage, the air conditioners in particular use a lot of energy, so use them wisely. Of course, we do not charge the costs for the drip installation, refilling the pool and consumption of the pool pump!
Based on meter readings that we take on arrival and departure, we will settle or settle the amount after departure. Usually this is between 5 and 10 euros per day for an occupancy of 2 to 4 people.
The consumption is charged at the rate of € 9 per m3 for water and € 0.50 per kWh for electricity. All guests pay a deposit and when the house is delivered neatly, the consumption of water and electricity can be deducted from the deposit. If there is damage to the home or equipment, the consumption costs will be charged separately.
You must take out cancellation and/or travel insurance yourself.
Within 4 weeks (30 days) before arrival we charge 50% of the total amount.
Within 2 weeks (14 days) before arrival we charge 100% of the total amount.
The € 500 deposit will be reimbursed shortly after check-out, costs for electric and water and any damages on inventory, villa or car will be deducted.
